About Jeanne Schumacher, M.Ed., Ed.D.Dr. Schumacher has taught science for over 35 years. She earned her teaching certificate from The Ohio State University in comprehensive science and was certified to teach all subject areas in science. She completed her masters and doctorate through the University of Alabama, focusing on curriculum and instruction in science and science education. After 35 years in the classroom, she realized that there was a need for distance learning and hence this program was born.
